The popular game Horizon Zero Dawn and its sequel, Horizon Forbidden West are published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Guerrilla Games.
The game follow the character Aloy, a young hunter in a world overrun by machines.
Players of Horizon, which is on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, will journey to regions of a futuristic Earth.
Aloy will meet up with old friends, form alliances with rival groups, and uncover the secrets of the past as she travels. Furthermore, the game achieves a really unique landscape by fusing high-tech marvel with stone-age beauty.
Recently, Sony PlayStation Studios Malaysia teamed up with Fusion Wayang Kulit to create a ‘wayang kulit’-style of Aloy.
Fusion Wayang Kulit is an award-winning team working hard to bring back the art of wayang kulit (shadow puppet). They work hard blending the traditional style with pop culture and sci-fi themes.
Moreover, they have done many famous pop cultures figures such as Batman and Star Wars. How cool!
In addition, head of PlayStation studios Malaysia @mistahasnul shares the intricate way that the wayang kulit is made. Check it out below!

The finished wayang kulit shows amazing detail that closely follows the traditional wayang kulit design. Not only that, they are still able to portray Aloy closely.
Finally, here it is color completed!
