The Different Types Of Learners: Which One Are You?

How to study better? Is it by taking notes? Is it by reading? The truth is, there is no specific way to learn better because every person is a different type of learner. Some study better that way, and some study better this way!

According to research, there are four different types of learners:

1) Visual learners
Visual learners are those people who like to take information visually. They absorb information better when they draw. They usually draw maps, graphs, charts, and others.

2)Auditory learners
Auditory learners use their ears to absorb information well. They prefer listening to someone explaining than having to read the information given. Besides that, they learn better if they explain the information out loud to themselves or other people.

3) Kinesthetic learners
Kinesthetic learners study by doing or practice. These people like to do a simulation to be able to capture the information. It is the only way they can ‘see’ the information.

4) Reading or writing
Some people only can study if they read or take down notes. They usually rephrase the written information to make it simpler to understand. These learners are different from visual learners as visual learners prefer shapes and symbols.

So, are you those people who draw maps to see the flow of information, or are you the one who likes to write a paragraph? Either way, there is no right or wrong. You can study any way you prefer as long as you can comprehend the information.
