WhatsApp New Features That You Might Not Notice

WhatsApp has always been upgrading its system for the comfort of its users. If you have updated WhatsApp, you might notice the new features displayed. Nevertheless, some might not notice them.

Therefore, let’s go through the new features of WhatsApp.

The 6 new features of WhatsApp

1) WhatsApp can now support 1024 people in a group chat

  • Before this, this application could only support 256 people in a group chat. Then, WhatsApp upgraded the system by allowing 512 people to be in a group. Surprisingly, the newest feature can support up to 1024 people!

2) You can react to emojis as you do on Instagram

  • Like viewing stories on Instagram, you can react to your friends’ status using emojis by swiping up the screen. All you need to do is tap on the chosen emoji, and the emoji will be sent.

3) Screenshot and screen record blocking is now a thing

  • You do not have to worry about someone screenshotting or screen recording your pictures and videos now. However, this feature only works for the photos or videos that are set to view once. Besides that, only Beta version WhatsApp users are offered this feature.

4) Tablet version of WhatsApp

  • Have you ever wanted to leave a group chat, but did not for some reason? I think we all do. The new feature of WhatsApp allows you to leave group chats ‘silently.’ Still, the admin of the group will be notified of your leaving.
