“Avatar: The Way Of Water” Official Trailer Showcase Stunning CGI Visuals!

The official trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water released yesterday and it shows some amazing CGI visuals. The film will be a sequel to 2009’s Avatar film directed by James Cameron.

The new film Avatar: The Way of Water picks up ten years after the events of 2009’s Avatar and features Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaa reprising their roles as Jake Sulley and Neytiri.

In the trailer, the protagonist face off against humanity once more, while also presenting the breathtaking landscapes of Pandora. Stephen Lang, who plays Colonel Quaritch, and Sigourney Weaver both reprise their roles.

Weaver will not be reprising her role as Dr. Grace Augustine from 2009, instead she will play a young Na’vi woman named Kiri.

The successful 2009 film used innovative CGI and 3D, which made it the highest-grossing movie of all time. It made over $2.9 billion in its run, with help from a special re-release in October.

Cameron delayed production on Avatar 2 and the continuation of the franchise until technology was advanced enough to realise his vision. This is because Jake Sully and Neytiri’s exploration of the world of Pandora is only the beginning of the sequel.

Cameron has plans for more sequels in the future but the making of Avatar 4 and 5 will depend on the success of the prequels before them.

Avatar: The Way of Water has the potential to foster deeper connections with the characters by telling a heartfelt narrative of Jake and Neytiri’s family and their quest to safeguard Pandora.

Audiences will have to go to cinemas to witness the CGI and 3D magnificence of Avatar 2. The film releases on 16 December.
