It is always heartbreaking to hear the news of babies being left without anyone around. Yesterday, a baby boy was found in a box near Seri Kembangan bus stop at Taman Sungai Besi Indah.
ACP. AA Anbalagan, a police chief in Serdang stated that the authorities received a report about the baby at 9.25 in the morning. The baby was wrapped in a piece of cloth when a local man found him.

He added that the baby boy was taken to Serdang Hospital for further examination. The baby was just a newborn, being left in a box at Pangsapuri Sungai Besi Indah, Seri Kembangan.
The investigation will not stop right there as the police are still trying their best to locate any witnesses for this case. They are looking through CCTVs in the nearby area as a report has been made that all CCTVs were being activated during the incident.
It is such an inhumane thing to do to leave a baby alone. We would not be able to know what the mother was thinking at the time she left baby. Nevertheless, the case is investigated under Section 317 of the Panel Code for conceiling a birth with the intention of abondoning the baby.
