Borussia Dortmund Set To Head To Asia, Facing JDT In Malaysia

Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) will face off against Borussia Dortmund as part of their 2022 Asia Tour. They will meet this coming November.

The match will take place at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on November 28.  This will be a great chance for the local club to test its capabilities against the German giants.

The timetable for Borussia Dortmund’s 2022 Asia Tour has been released. The Asia Tour will take place during the FIFA World Cup break. Within the 10-day journey, the German club will play three games in Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Firstly, on November 24, Edin Terzic’s squad will face off against Lion City Sailors, a team from the Singapore Premier League.

Then, on November 28, they will head over to Malaysia to play JDT. Lastly, Borussia Dortmund will play the Vietnamese national team in Hanoi on November 30 to wrap up their tour.

Borrusia Dortmund originally plan to include Indonesia as part of their tour. However, due to the previous football tragedy that occurred there, they decided not to go on with the plan.

The members of Borussia Dortmund who are not participating at the FIFA World Cup on behalf of their respective national teams will go to Asia.

The 2022 Asia Tour squad will also include players from the club’s youth squads. Players such as Salih Özcan, Anthony Modeste, Marius Wolf, and Felix Passlack make appear in the matches
