Chris Evans, who is widely recognised for his portrayal of Captain America, has been honoured with People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive award for 2022.
Most recently, he was seen in The Gray Man, directed by the Russo Brothers. Actor claims his mom would be proud of him if he made the news, but he may get picked on by his friends.
“My mom will be so happy,” he told the magazine, which comes out on Friday. “She’s proud of everything I do, but this is something she can really brag about.”
He jokingly said that he knows he is likely to be teased by close friends. “Really this will just be a point of bullying. It’s ripe for harassment,” he said.
Chris Evans most recent film was The Gray Man, in which he played Lloyd Hansen, a psychotic former CIA agent turned mercenary. In Lightyear, an animated science fiction film, he provided the voice for the title character, Buzz Lightyear.
The 40-year-old is now prioritizing a good work-life balance. Not only that, he aims to spend as much time as possible in Boston with his family.”When it comes to seeking out the people I play it’s more of an issue of where the movie shoots,” he said.
“I’m too old to be living out of a suitcase for six months and I’ve settled into a nicer phase where I’m just happy being at home.”
He is also looking into more things outside of acting, including marriage and fatherhood. “That’s absolutely something I want,” Chris said.
However, Chris seems like he will keep his lips sealed if those things actually occur. “Some things you want just for you, or just for my family and my friends.”
