A couple who recently had a newborn baby decided to give it an awesome name! They decided to name the baby after famous anime characters!
Welcome Ichigo D. Yeager Guts Kenpachi Cruz to the world. He is named after characters from the anime Bleach, Attack on Titan and Berserk. That is one way to show your love for anime!
The parents AlexCruzManga uploaded a video of their baby with the name on TikTok. The video took off and went viral since the moment they uploaded it. He captioned the video with “my son will become a legend“.
The parents looks really happy with their decision to go with that name for their baby. They appear to a huge Bleach fan since they included 2 characters from that anime in the name.
Furthermore, popular manga and anime distributor VIZ Media quote-retweeted a screenshot of the TikTok video. They wrote “May Alex & Megan not suffer the fate of shonen protagonist parents. May they live long lives and be loved by their shonen protagonist son. Congratulations!”
Parents of shonen protagonist often has an ill-fated ending. For example, Titans killed Eren’s mother in Attack on Titan, Ichigo’s mother died protecting him and Guts was born from the corpse of his lynched mother.
A Twitter user said that the kid will be bullied in which VIZ responded “we shall protect him if they come for him online.” Good to know that the baby will be well protected by a popular publisher!
