In talking about pregnant women, people would treat them as people who are fragile and need a lot of care. Well, the statement is correct. Doctors usually ask pregnant women to rest because being pregnant consumes a lot of energy. Imagine, carrying a person inside your stomach! That is hard work!

Outstanding time achievement

Nevertheless, Mrs. Kama, who is a mother of three children and is currently 28 weeks pregnant, showed people she is different. She successfully conquered the Spartan Race with an outstanding time achievement — 1 hour and 38 minutes. For additional information, Mrs. Kama is a gym instructor. No wonder she managed to conquer the run!

Mrs. Kama mentioned on her Instagram that her achievement was not an easy journey. She had to go through 20 obstacles in 5 kilometers expedition. Out of the 20 obstacles, she successfully conquered 17! That was a great number for a pregnant woman!

To make the event possible for her, she did a lot of preparation. Even before her pregnancy, she did a lot of cross fit training. She said the training helped her even until the day of the event. The encouragements from her friends and her coach are one of those people who made it possible for her. Furthermore, Mrs. Kama appreciated those who looked out for her during the event.

In an interview with Siakap Keli, Mrs. Kama shared the condition of her baby. Both the mother and baby were in good condition. She revealed that she has been keeping a healthy lifestyle since she was in school.

How does Mrs. Kama keep a healthy lifestyle?

  • Have a meal two hours before beginning your exercise
  • Take supplements to ensure the baby and herself are always in a top-notch condition

Even though the Spartan Race has ended, Mrs. Kama does not intend to stop too. She planned on joining other similar activities if she gets the chance to.
