D’MASIV Is Coming To Malaysia! Are 6000 Seats Enough?

If you’re a fan of Indonesian pop bands, you’ll be familiar with the name D’MASIV. One of their hit songs, Cinta Ini Membunuhku, was an earworm when it was first released. The line of kau hancurkan aku dengan sikapmu~, was sung by many people including Malaysians. It seems like many fans could relate to the lyrics. Therefore, it became a sensation in Indonesia and Malaysia back in 2008.

Even though the band constantly releases their music almost every year, fans from Malaysia aren’t aware of the band’s colourful repertoire. Yet, the hardcore Masivers (D’MASIV’s fanbase) will definitely know their songs from A to Z.

So, have you heard the news? D’MASIV is coming to Malaysia soon!

D’MASIV will hold a concert in Malaysia this 2023!

Rian, the singer and songwriter of the band, shared this exciting notice through a tweet yesterday.

He said,

2023 D’MASIV is finally holding our concert in Malaysia for the first time. See you there, Malaysian Masivers!

Fans flooded the tweet with brimming anticipation. They can’t wait to jam to D’MASIV’s songs and have the time of their lives at the concert.

But some fans suggested holding a two-day concert instead of one.

Not only that, but someone also requested for the band to perform Boboiboy’s OST, Dibawah Langit Yang Sama.

Rest assured, Rian, replied, “Of course!”

Will 6000 seats be enough?

Following the excitement and anticipation of D’MASIV’s concert, Rian posted another tweet today. He questioned,

Malaysian fans, if 6000 seats are provided for [our] concert, will it be sold?

Many fans answered definitely! D’MASIV has many supporters in Malaysia. Masivers here will not miss their chance to meet the band up close!
