Can it be? Is Rick Astley the possible new Superman? Last week, many fans were disappointed when Henry Cavill, the Superman loved by many, announced he won’t be in the next installment of the DC hero James Gunn had in mind.

It was devastating news many had to take, considering how people were rooting for Cavill to return as the red and blue superhero. Since it was told that Cavill would resume wearing the cape last October, the public couldn’t quite grasp the sudden change of information.

Gunn made several changes at DC Studios. This caused many plans to tumble into the gutter. The filmmaker announced that Superman would branch out to the DC universe. Furthermore, he is searching for a new actor in the role of Superman.

The big question now is, who is the next Superman?

Amid the haze of this situation, a famous singer seems to suit the Man of Steel role. Who could that be?

Singer-songwriter Rick Astley shone a light on the darkness as he might be the best candidate for the next Superman!

Rick Astley said, “It’s been years since I put this on”

In his Twitter post, Astley edited his face on the hero’s outfit, and many said he looked good in it!

Interestingly, Astley recorded a song Superman in 2012. This could signify that he is a fan of the DC hero. Who would have thought— he had been gearing up to wear the cape all along!

Fans are actually excited to see this probability coming to life! As one of Astley’s famous hits, Never Gonna Give You Up, fans believe he’ll never let them down if he becomes the new Superman!
