What is Touch ‘n Go ewallet’s Soundbox?
Touch ‘n Go eWallet presents a new feature in their TNG eWallet application called Soundbox! Good news: you can purchase this through the Merchant Dashboard tab.
You might wonder, what is Soundbox? It is a new audio-assisted smart device. It will alert you with an immediate notification once you receive payment.
Furthermore, when a customer scan and pay through your Touch ‘n Go eWallet QR code or DuitNow QR code, the device will announce and display the amount of the LED display. Cool, huh?
The Soundbox comes in two editions: SIM and Wi-Fi-based connectivity. You can choose either or!
What is in the box?
The Soundbox with SIM card includes:

1x 2-sided QR standee
1x USB Type-C cable
1x User Guide
Important note:
1) The SIM card subscription is valid for only 12 months. Hence, if you want to renew, contact Touch ‘n Go’s helpdesk:

2) You can use your own SIM Card. But it is recommended to use the given SIM Card for better connectivity and security.

The device also comes with an 18-month warranty from the date of purchase! Therefore, if there are problems with your Soundbox, contact their helpdesk or email them for further assistance.
How to connect to the device?
For Wi-Fi mode:
1) Turn on the device
2) Press and hold the Repeat button to start hotspot network pairing
3) From your phone’s Wi-Fi setting, search and connect to Soundbox. Refer last four digits at the bottom of your device.
4) Once connected, on your phone’s browser, type https://192.168.1.1 to access the configuration page
5) Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password. When done connecting, you will receive a sound notification.
For SIM Card mode:
1) Press the Power button to turn on the device
2) Insert your SIM card from the bottom of the Soundbox
3) Press and hold the Volume Up button to enter ‘Mobile Network Mode’.
4) A successful connection will give you a sound notification
