Malaysian writers are finally getting the spotlight they deserve. Recently, a Sarawakian writer, Claudia Tan, booked her place in stardom with her novel, Perfect Addiction!
Claudia’s work is getting its own movie adaptation soon! And not only that, but the line-up is also very impressive! Some of the actors are Kiana Madeira (Sienna Lane), Ross Butler (Kayden) and Matthew Noszka (Jax Deneris).
Interestingly, this masterpiece began with Wattpad! Wattpad houses many best-selling books from talented writers worldwide. It’s a go-to reading site for many teenagers, young adults and adults. There are lots of quality stories there, and we’re glad Constantin Film discovered this gem written by a Malaysian writer!
What is Perfect Addiction about?
Perfect Addiction is about a girl named Sienna. When she discovers her boyfriend, Jax, cheated on her sister, she decides to plot a plan for revenge. Then, she trains Jax’s arch nemesis, Kayden, to take her boyfriend down the hard way. However, love intervenes in the plan, and things get a bit heated in a passionate affair afterwards.
The movie sets to release in Spring 2023!
The wait won’t be long. The trailer of Perfect Addiction was released in December. And according to this talented Sarawakian writer, the movie will hit cinemas this spring!
