“Baby, Don’t Cry,” A Father Was Nervous While Witnessing Caesarean Delivery Of 2nd Baby

Caesarean or natural delivery: both procedures come with their challenges. But both methods require mothers to put their lives on the line. Aren’t mothers amazing? They have to carry life in their womb for nine months. Afterwards, they have to bear the pain of delivering the baby to the world.

That’s why husbands are encouraged to be with their wives in the labour room. There, they could see how difficult it is to deliver a baby. Also, it will ignite a sense of gratitude to their wives for carrying a big responsibility for nine months.

Mikhail Isaaq (@mikhailisaaq) shared his experience witnessing his wife’s caesarean delivery. He was really nervous!

The funny thing about it was Mikhail was even more nervous than his wife. He even forgot to hold his wife’s hands because of the jitters.

Then, he asked his baby not to cry. He was worried and anxious, that’s for sure!

However, it was all worth it after he saw the baby’s face. The nerves just disappeared after the baby’s cute face came to view.

What is Caesarean delivery?

Caesarean or C-section delivery is a surgical procedure that delivers the baby through incisions in the abdomen and uterus. Although natural birth is better because the recovery period is shorter, caesar birth is plausible for mothers who have difficulty doing so.

Do you know that this procedure is chosen when a vaginal delivery will affect the mother and baby’s safety? C-section delivery can be planned beforehand or in an emergency. But it is riskier than natural birth. Not only that, but it takes longer to recover too.

How do you know if you need a C-section delivery?

Cephalopelvic disproportion (CPD)

It’s a term that means the baby’s head or body is too big to pass the pelvis safely. Or it could be when the pelvis is too small to deliver an average-sized baby.

Previous C-section

Once a mother goes through this procedure, it’s impossible to avoid it. Although it’s possible to have a natural birth after C-section, it doesn’t apply to everyone. Why? The uterine incision used in the previous method triggers uterine rupture.

There are many more conditions where you can consider having a Caesarean delivery. Read here.

However it is, we salute all mothers for risking their lives to deliver these cute babies to the world. You are the best!
