Hit By A Car After Falling Off His Motorcycle, A Soldier Died

Accidents can occur anywhere either on the road, or even at the place we think is safe — our home. Nevertheless, there are many accidents on the road involving people and vehicles. Sometimes, it also involves animals. There are many animals that we can see on the side of the road such as cows, cats, and dogs.

According to Astro Awani, a soldier died after getting hit by a car on the Sungai Udang-Paya Rumput-Ayer Keroh Highway (SPA) near Bertam Putra. The accident happened last night when he fell off his motorcycle after hitting a dog.

The victim, Muhamad Solleh Ramli was a soldier at Sungai Udang Terendak Camp. Report stated that he was on his way home from a ‘Tahlil‘ ceremony when the accident happened.

The car that hit the victim was a Toyota Fortuner belonging to the Veterinary Services Department. The driver, a 34-year-old man was not injured in the accident. Nevertheless, Melaka Tengah District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner, Christopher Patit said that the driver was sent to Melaka Hospital for examination. The Chemistry Department of the hospital would take his blood sample for further analysis.

Meanwhile, the victim’s body was taken to the Melaka Forensic Medicine Department to find out the cause of his death.
