Netizens Praise ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’ Movie For Depicting An Accurate Panic Attack Moment

Last December, the sequel to the spin-off film Puss in Boots (2011), Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, was released. It was the perfect Christmas movie for every Puss fan, adults included. The legendary Puss has stolen many hearts for his cute yet fierce character.

We follow the famous hero and outlaw’s journey through salvation, sacrifices, and love in the latest installment. As Puss has used up eight of his nine lives, he was advised to retire from adventuring. Yet, the fearless Puss wasn’t easy to bend. He continued to help those who were in need. Sadly, along the way, he often neglected himself.

Puss had a panic attack in the movie

What perked the netizen’s interest was this particular scene in the film. We would never think Puss’s strong bravado would shatter at this moment.

In the movie, Puss experienced a panic attack. Netizens claimed it was an accurate depiction of that dark moment.

Puss was having a hard time breathing. Although Perrito, the therapy dog, was calling his name, he couldn’t speak.

Perito used deep pressure therapy to calm Puss’s panic attack

What makes the movie even more applause-worthy is when Perrito uses a technique that helps Puss through his panic attack!

Novasaur (@NNovasaur) mentioned that deep pressure therapy was a big helping hand for Puss during that dire time.

For your information, deep pressure therapy or Deep Pressure Stimulation (DPS) is firm but gentle squeezing, hugs or holding that relaxes the nervous system. The pressure can be applied with the hands, special massage tools, or any product you can wear around yourself.

Netizens couldn’t stop raving about the movie’s attention to detail

Generally, everyone couldn’t stop praising the film for including a significant portrayal of a panic attack. We are still in awe too.
