Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) is a yearly award ceremony that compiles talented singer-songwriters and performers on stage. It’s one of the most anticipated programs by many Malaysians since years back and is still loved by many today.
Yesterday, the prestigious ceremony was held live at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. With hosts Jihan Muse and Sherry Al-Hadad, the show offered laughter and enjoyment to everyone who tuned in until the end.
With talented line-ups like SonaOne and Joe Flozzow, Alif Satar & The Locos, Shiha Zikir, Khai Bahar, Iman Troye, Naim Daniel, Shila Amzah and Liza Hanim, Ernie Zakri, Noki and MK, Dayang Nurfaizah and Amir Masdi, Aina Abdul and Marsha Milan, surely everyone didn’t want to miss out on it.
Aina Abdul wins first place in the 37th AJL
Through her self-composed song Terus Hidup, Aina Abdul wowed the judges and spectators alike with her killer vocals and outstanding performance. Thus, her hard work paid off, as she ranked first in last night’s AJL!
She received a trophy and prize money of RM100,000. Not only that, but she won Best Vocal award along with a trophy and RM12,000. Congratulations to Aina!
Netizens were raving about her performance last night. The wait was worth it as she mesmerised everyone with her white Lady Gaga-esque gown from head to toe. She sure served more than her killer vocals last night!
She even captured the Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Fahmi Fadzil’s attention!
Aina became the talk of the town and is still trending at number three today!

According to Datuk Mokhzani, the head judge of AJL 37, Terus Hidup and Satu Malam Di Temasek went head to head to take first place. However, Aina was advantageous due to the Best Vocal award she earned, thus adding two extra points to her total marks. It was an intense battle between these two songs that were both unique on their own.
