Disney’s Aladdin 2 Is Likely To Come As Director Is Brainstorming Ideas For Next Sequel

“A whole new world…A new fantastic point of view…” Recognize the song? It is the soundtrack of Aladdin, one of Disney’s live-action movies. In 2019, the movie hit the cinema and gained success despite criticism of its teaser trailer.

As many love the live-action of Aladdin, there may be a chance for the sequel to be made. The director, Guy Ritchie, provides an update on the yet-to-be sequel. Ritchie and his team reveal they are brainstorming some ideas for the second movie. All we have to do now is “wait and see.”

If that were to happen, all of the main cast of the first Aladdin would return to play their role. There would be Mena Sassoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scoot as Princess Jasmine, and Will Smith as Genie.

The first movie was released in 2019 where it tells the story of a poor man, Aladdin who falls in love with a princess named Jasmine. He befriends Genie, who lives in a magical oil lamp in the Princess’ palace. Aladdin and Genie embark on a dangerous journey to stop Jafar the evil sorcerer from ruling the kingdom.

For now, there is not yet information about when the filming will start as the director is still brainstorming some ideas.
