Three Steps To Say “Sorry” To The Person You Have Wronged

In our life, we often make mistakes. It would be a lie if you say that you have never wronged anyone before. Sometimes, we are not even aware of our actions that can hurt someone’s feelings. Therefore, if you find yourself hurting someone, what do you do?

Are you mad at yourself? Or do you just forget about it and move on? Or do you say “sorry” to the person you have hurt?

If your answer is the last option, I think that is the best way to do it. Saying “sorry” and admitting your mistakes is such an honourable thing to do.

According to @fadzilahkamsah_ on Twitter, there are only three simple steps to apologize for your wrongdoings.

1) Firstly, of course, you have to say you are sorry. “I am sorry.” “I am so sorry for what I have done.” “I am sorry for my actions.”

2) Next, you need to admit your mistake. “I know what I did, and I regret it.”

3) Finally, ask the person you have wronged if there is any way you can make it right. “What can I do to make things right?”

@fadzilahkamsah_ reveals that steps one and two are easy to do. However, step number three is often forgotten by people.

Remember, communication and actions are both important in maintaining a relationship between family, friends, and more.
