TikTok company consulted Digital Wellness Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital to choose the time limit. When teens are on screen and is is already 60 minutes, they will need to enter a password to continue entertaining themselves. With this initiative by the company, teens will have to make the best decision whether to continue watching or stop.

As many people under 13 are also on TikTok, they will also have the same screen limit. Nevertheless, a parent will be needing to enter a password for 30 minutes additional time.

The plan for time management feature by TikTok company is such a great way to help people to not only be drawn on the screen. The company also strives to improve current features to make more meaningful and enjoyable connections for users.
