KFC Add Hope Malaysia Channels RM100,000 Towards Back-To-School Initiatives

Add Hope Malaysia, in a resolute commitment to uplift the underprivileged segments of society, has allocated RM100,000 towards its ‘Back To School’ program, benefitting over 800 children from various charity homes nationwide.

The initiative aims to provide essential school kits along with additional financial support,

ensuring a promising start to the academic year for these deserving youngsters. Recognising the challenges faced by many of these children, particularly those from orphanages or broken

homes, KFC Malaysia employees from every state, accompanied by their regional coaches, joined forces to spread joy during the distribution across 18 homes throughout the country.

With the iconic Chicky, KFC’s beloved mascot, leading the way, each event was filled with laughter and excitement as children indulged in games and interactive activities. The highlight was undoubtedly the infectious energy of the chicken dance performed by Chicky and enthusiastic KFC employees, captivating the hearts of all in attendance.

Head of KFC Malaysia Chandrasgran Munusamy, expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of these children.

He emphasised the importance of the Back-to-School initiative, stating, “Beyond addressing hunger, our mission extends to fostering positive change and empowering young minds. By equipping them with the necessary tools and support, we aim to inspire academic excellence and a brighter future.”

Add Hope Malaysia remains steadfast in its dedication to serving communities in need across Malaysia. Through ongoing initiatives, the organisation endeavours to instil hope and create opportunities for those facing adversity.
