Marking its first anniversary in style, Pinkfish brought Southeast Asia’s first festive train, the Pinkfish Express, to the KL Railway Station in celebration of one year since its inaugural Pinkfish Music & Arts Festival on 30th April 2023. This unique musical journey traversed the cityscapes on 16th May 2024, offering the festival fans a novel party experience against the backdrop of the city’s skyline.
The two-hour journey treated attendees to performances by Pinkfish favourites and fellow lineup talents. Rising local star Aidaho, dynamic duo BATE, and musical luminary Nahsyk entertained the 120 commuters decked out in pink, offering a preview of the excitement awaiting them at the Pinkfish Music & Arts Festival 2024, scheduled for 8th June 2024 at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon.
Reflecting on the past year, Pinkfish founders Mr. Rohit Rampal and Mr. Kesavan Purusotman (KC) remarked, “It’s been an incredible journey, and we wanted to create something special for those who have supported us since the beginning. So, this time we thought, why not take the sentiment ‘music that moves you’ to a whole new level?
In celebrating our first year with three successful events, this is a ‘thank you’ to the folks behind our success”. The founders expressed their hope that everyone enjoyed the Pinkfish Express and the journey as much as they did, both during the event and over the past 365 days.
