11th Edition of Warner Music Fest 2024 Set to Rock University Campuses Across Malaysia with Live Music, Scented by Perfume Paradise

Warner Music Malaysia (WMM) is delighted to announce Warner Music Fest 2024 is back for its 11th year, featuring a live music tour at eight universities across the country, bringing together the country’s top music talents for a series of electrifying performances. It is also the first time  Warner Music Fest will make its way to Sabah and Sarawak.

WMM is also excited to announce Perfume Paradise as the title sponsor. Known for its luxurious fragrances at affordable prices, Perfume Paradise has established itself as a leading Malaysian perfume brand, particularly appealing to the younger generation. This partnership aligns with both organizations’ shared commitment to supporting and fostering the growth of emerging talent in the Malaysian music industry.

This annual event, which started in 2012 and went on a hiatus during the pandemic before continuing in 2022, provides an opportunity for artists to connect with their largest and most enthusiastic fan base – the youth.

The tour will kick off in Kuching, Sarawak and continue through Melaka, Kedah, Penang, Selangor, Perak, Sabah, and conclude in Batu Pahat, Johor, offering an exciting musical journey across Malaysia starting from 3 November.

At the press conference held at The Majapahit @Arcoris, Dinesh Ratnam, Managing Director of Warner Music Malaysia and Singapore, expressed his excitement about the tour and its mission. “At Warner Music Malaysia, we have always been committed to nurturing and showcasing local talent. The Warner Music Fest 2024 represents more than just music; it embodies the essence of community, creativity, and the incredible talent that Malaysia has to offer.”

“This annual university tour is something students eagerly anticipate, and each year, we receive an overwhelmingly positive response. We want to bring music directly to the people who inspire so much of it—our youth. This is one of our ways of connecting the local music scene with the younger generation and fostering a vibrant music culture in Malaysia,” added Ratnam.

He highlighted the tour’s  lineup, which  promises an unforgettable experience with performances by Malaysia’s most sought-after talents, including Amsyar Leee, Bunga, Dinda Dania, Luqman Podolski, Rizal Rasid, Syamel, TUJU, Wani Kayrie, Zynakal, and many more. Each artist is set to captivate audiences with their unique styles and hits through the magic of live music.

In addition to the live performances, university students can look forward to thrilling on-ground activities, such as exclusive meet-and-greet sessions, allowing them to connect up close and personal with their favourite artists.

Ratnam commented: “After 11 years, this Warner Music Fest is especially significant as we have the privilege of collaborating with numerous brands. This tour is made possible by the generous support of our sponsors — Perfume Paradise as the title sponsor; CelcomDigi as the official telco partner; Tao Kae Noi as the official snacks provider; Buz App as the official communication app; and GRAB as the official e-hailing partner. To top it off, for the first time, Warner Music Fest 2024 will have an official radio partner, as we team up with Hot FM to ensure wide coverage and amplify the event’s reach and energy across the airwaves. We’d also like to extend our appreciation to The Majapahit for sponsoring the venue and F&B for this press conference.”
