Double the Fun with ‘Taiwan PASS’ Limited-Time Offer: Buy One, Get One Free, Explore Taiwan’s Stunning Sights Effortlessly!

Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation and Communications Tourism Bureau has introduced the essential ‘Taiwan PASS’ electronic travel ticket for international tourists, available in both High-Speed Rail (HSR) and Taiwan Rail versions. The pass integrates Taiwan’s major transport options and is designed to offer independent travellers a more time-saving, cost-effective, and convenient travel experience. To encourage more international visitors to explore Taiwan’s rich natural landscapes and vibrant cultural diversity, the Tourism Bureau is launching a limited time “Buy One, Get One Free” promotion. Tailored for short-term sightseeing tourists, this offer provides an even more accessible and value-packed travel experience. Whether it’s a first-time visit or a return trip, international travellers can enjoy seamless transportation and explore Taiwan’s top attractions with ease.

The Ideal Choice for Muslim Travellers

In the 2024 Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI), Taiwan ranked 3rd among non-OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) destinations, just behind Singapore and the UK. Taipei City also earned the title of “Most Promising Muslim-Friendly Destination City” for the first time. Taipei currently boasts over 60 Muslim-friendly hotels and dining establishments, as well as more than 30 tourist spots and public spaces equipped with prayer rooms and ablution facilities. The ‘Taiwan PASS’ promotion not only enables visitors to enjoy Taiwan’s convenient transportation system, but also allows them to explore its diverse natural and cultural attractions without worrying about dietary or religious needs.

Abe Chou, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Administration Office in Kuala Lumpur states: “Taiwan is committed to creating a Muslim-friendly travel environment. The launch of the ‘Taiwan PASS’ promotion gives Muslim travellers a golden opportunity to explore Taiwan’s rich cultural diversity, cuisine, and scenic beauty, all while saving time and money. We warmly invite Muslim visitors to enjoy this promotion, explore Taiwan’s halal-certified restaurants, convenient prayer facilities, and experience the island’s unique charm.”’
