Tesla Expanding Its Charging Network in Johor and Kuala Lumpur with an addition of 4 Superchargers and 2 Destination Chargers

Tesla announces the launch of a new V4 Supercharging Station in Skudai R&R, South Bound, with an addition of 4 Superchargers to the Tesla’s robust charging network.

  • With a peak Supercharging rate at 250kW, it just takes 5 minutes to charge up a Tesla to 120km of range. At RM1.13 per kW, Tesla Supercharging rate remains the lowest in Malaysia. The idle fee of RM4 per minute remains to create a better experience for all owners, aiming to increase Supercharger availability.

With the Tesla App, you can view the availability of Supercharger, monitor your charging status or get notified when you’re ready to go. Tesla owners can navigate to the preferred Supercharging station, the battery will be pre-conditioned to give owners the most seamless and efficient charging experience. With automatic battery preconditioning and the exceptional range of every Tesla electric vehicle, you’ll spend even more time on the road.
  • With the commencement of the new V4 Supercharging Station in Skudai R&R, Tesla operates 13 Supercharging stations (60 Superchargers) and 13 Destination Charging stations (64 chargers) in Malaysia. Tesla is committed to keep expanding the charging network to provide more extensive coverage in Malaysia.
  • Unlike traditional ICE vehicles, Tesla vehicles require minimal maintenance. Together with Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, new features will be added regularly for free, keeping the cost of owning Tesla vehicles the lowest.
