Hospital Putrajaya Named One of the World’s Best Hospitals 2025 by Newsweek

Malaysia is celebrating a proud moment as Hospital Putrajaya has been officially recognised as one of the World’s Best Hospitals 2025 by Newsweek in collaboration with global data firm Statista.

This international recognition places Hospital Putrajaya among the top healthcare institutions worldwide a remarkable achievement that underscores the hospital’s continuous efforts in delivering world-class medical care to Malaysians.

The World’s Best Hospitals list is compiled annually through a rigorous and transparent methodology, which includes:

  • Peer recommendations and evaluations from thousands of medical professionals across the globe
  • Analysis of hospital quality metrics, including safety and hygiene standards
  • Patient experience surveys that reflect satisfaction with care, service, and overall outcomes

The award highlights not only the hospital’s clinical excellence but also its dedication to patient-centred care. From doctors and nurses to administrators and support staff, the entire Hospital Putrajaya team has played a vital role in achieving this milestone.

Among those who proudly shared the news was Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, former Director-General of Health Malaysia (March 2013 – April 2023) and President of the Malaysian Medical Council during his tenure. He expressed his heartfelt congratulations in a post on X (formerly Twitter):
