Serve, Smash, And Snack: Julie’s Redefines Snack Event Activations With A Pickleball Court In The Heart Of A Mall

Julie’s is back with yet another fun-filled roadshow, this time inspired by its bold-flavoured sandwich biscuits – the Sweet Chilli Cheese and Sour Cream & Onion, first launched last year. Embracing the event’s tagline of ‘where flavour meets your game, this pickleball-themed roadshow sees the brand boldly setting up a pickleball court, complete with spectator seating, right in the middle of Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre. Running from now until 15 June at the mall’s Blue Concourse, the event promises a flavour-packed experience with pickleball matches, coaching sessions, and limited-edition pickleball merchandises up for grabs with purchases.

The roadshow kicked off with high energy on 12 June featuring the Julie’s Pickleball Face- Off match, where popular local content creators lit up the court in a lively, friendly game. Off-court, the content creators and guests were seen snapping fun photos at the vibrant photobooth designed to look like a player’s bench and locker room, a feature that will be available for all visitors to enjoy throughout the event.

Visitors of the roadshow can look forward to a line-up of pickleball-related activities, including a friendly match by a local pickleball club and free beginner coaching sessions daily. Those interested in coaching can secure a slot via walk-in registration at the venue. Players that are eager to jump right into action can enjoy the public play sessions at the court daily with paddles and balls provided.

“It’s been just over a year since we rolled out our Sweet Chilli Cheese and Sour Cream & Onion sandwich biscuits – two bold flavours that refuse to sit quietly on the shelf. So we thought, why not give people a way to taste the fun and play it too? That’s how the idea of our pickleball activation came to life. It’s cheeky, unexpected, and a little competitive – just like the flavours themselves. Shoppers can redeem items based on their spend: two packet of biscuits gets you two Zing Balls, RM50 unlocks one paddle, RM150 earns you the Julie’s Game-On Court Bag. Every purchase also comes with four random sample biscuit packs. All gifts with purchase are stackable, available only during the roadshow while stocks last.

Guests can also challenge themselves through an interactive game at the event inspired by a popular slicing game, but with a Julie’s twist, where players slice biscuits instead. Free sampling is available throughout the event for those curious about the bold biscuit flavours: Sour Cream & Onion delivers a tangy sour cream with aromatic onion bite, while Sweet Chilli Cheese combines creamy cheese cream with a gentle sweet chilli kick.
