foodpanda Malaysia Honours Riders’ Dedication at Durian Runtuh 2.0 – Anugerah Hero Tapau, Awarding Over RM340,000 in Prizes

foodpanda Malaysia celebrated the dedication and contributions of its delivery partners with the highly anticipated Durian Runtuh 2.0 – Anugerah Hero Tapau event held at KL Gateway Mall. The event, attended by more than 300 riders, their families, media, and partners, was a testament to foodpanda’s ongoing commitment to recognising and rewarding its riders for their exceptional service.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of over RM340,000 worth of prizes, including the grand giveaway of fully sponsored Umrah packages for three winners and their families, valued at over  RM108,000. Additionally, 196 riders were rewarded with gold bars worth more than  RM233,000, distributed based on their outstanding performance throughout the year.

  • 199 Rider Winners Across Malaysia
  • 3 Grand Prize Winners receiving fully sponsored Umrah packages for four pax each
  • 196 Gold Bars awarded to riders, including 14 x 10g bars, 28 x 5g bars, 42 x 2.5g bars, and 112 x 1g bars

Tan Ming Luk, Managing Director of foodpanda Malaysia, expressed his gratitude for the riders, saying, “Our riders are the heart of foodpanda, and their dedication drives our success every day. Through Durian Runtuh 2.0, we continue our tradition for the second year running of celebrating and rewarding their hard work. These rewards are a token of our appreciation, and we hope they inspire our riders to keep striving for excellence while serving communities across Malaysia.”

The event was part of foodpanda’s Durian Runtuh continuity program, which rewards the top-performing and most dedicated riders annually. It also served as a platform to announce upcoming Year-End Quest prizes, further motivating riders nationwide.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of family-friendly activities, including a bag exchange, recruitment drives, an ice cream booth, food stalls, a photo booth, kids’ activities, and a live band performance.

The event’s nationwide livestream ensured the celebration reached riders across Malaysia, fostering a sense of camaraderie and connection. foodpanda Malaysia extends its gratitude to all supporting partners who made this event a success.
