Disney Cruise Line just got a wholesome Southeast Asian glow-up.
As part of its new Local Artist Series, the upcoming Disney Adventure cruise ship is teaming up with homegrown talent across Asia and first up? Singaporean artist Danielle Tay, known for her colorful, nature-inspired pieces that bring everyday sights to life.
Her debut onboard artwork shows Captain Mickey Mouse and friends pulling up to sunny Singapore, ready to explore its lush greenery, cheeky otters, colorful birds, and iconic skyline. And because Disney knows how to do it right, the art also inspired an exclusive capsule merch collection from batik-print tea towels to vibrant tote bags and playful plate sets.
Only available onboard Disney Adventure, the collection gives guests a chance to bring a little piece of Southeast Asia home.
Danielle calls it a dream project, blending her childhood love for Disney with the whimsical beauty of her own culture. Honestly? We love to see it.
The Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line’s first ship to homeport in Asia, with short sailings and no ports of call (only sea days!). Pure floating fun.
