Byond Asia Unveils World Premiere Of HoloMe Interactive Panel At Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur 2025

Byond Asia, an AI-first digital human solutions company, today announced the world premiere of its breakthrough innovation, the HoloMe Interactive Panel, at the inaugural Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur (SCEKL 2025) — the first Smart City Expo in Southeast Asia.

The HoloMe Interactive Panel is the result of two years of intensive research and development across Byond Asia’s global teams in Malaysia, Korea, the Middle East, China, and Hong Kong. The product demonstrates how digital humans can be seamlessly integrated into real-world applications, making AI-powered interactions accessible, practical, and valuable for industries and societies worldwide.

“The launch of the HoloMe Interactive Panel marks not only a milestone for Byond Asia, but also for Malaysia as a rising leader in AI and Smart City innovation,” said Fred Chong, Founder & Group CEO of Byond Asia. “Our mission has always been to save time, save costs, and create value. With HoloMe, we are proving that digital humans can transform how businesses, governments, and communities interact with technology.”

Innovation at the Core

The HoloMe Interactive Panel combines advanced AI conversational capabilities with a fully integrated hardware-software solution, featuring:

  • Hyper-realistic digital human interface.
  • Interactive touch panel for two-way communication.
  • Barcode and QR code scanning for seamless service integration.
  • Multilingual and multicultural support, designed for Smart Cities and global enterprises.

When Byond Asia realized no such product existed globally, the team committed to building it from the ground up. Today, the HoloMe Interactive Panel stands as a U.S. patent-pending innovation, designed to redefine how AI solutions are deployed at scale.

Voices of Innovation

“As the Digital Human Ambassador for Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur, I feel liberated that my digital twin is able to speak in so many languages and sound exactly like me. I truly believe this technology will revolutionize how artists and intellectual property can discover new ways to connect and monetize in the era of AI. It opens doors to audiences I could never reach on my own — across cultures, across borders, and across time. I am deeply honored to be part of this journey with Byond Asia, and proud that Malaysia is at the forefront of this global innovation,” highlighted Sangeeta Krishnasamy, Award-Winning Malaysian Actress.

A National Milestone in AI

The launch was officiated by YB Gobind Singh Deo, Malaysia’s Minister of Digital, who praised Byond Asia’s achievement as a symbol of Malaysia’s growing leadership in AI innovation.

“I have witnessed how Fred and his team at Byond Asia have developed this digital human solution over the past two years, transforming it into a practical innovation that solves real-world problems. I am proud that a Malaysian company has taken such bold steps to create a groundbreaking product that is now U.S. patent-pending. This is a testament to Malaysia’s growing strength in AI and digital innovation,” said YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital Malaysia.

Byond Asia believes that Malaysia, under the leadership of Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim and guided by the Madani framework, is well-positioned to become ASEAN’s hub for AI and Smart City solutions.

Looking Ahead

Byond Asia will present the HoloMe Interactive Panel at major international showcases, including GITEX Dubai and Smart City Expo Barcelona, positioning it as a flagship product under its HoloMe brand. The solution is designed to empower Smart Cities and serve industries such as retail, healthcare, finance, education, and tourism.

“This is only the beginning,” added Chong. “Our vision is to make digital humans a cornerstone of future cities and industries, improving the quality of life for people everywhere.”
