Malaysia’s love affair with hotpot just got hotter. Supamala, the homegrown pioneer of halal-focused hotpot dining, has opened its third outlet at Bangsar Shopping Centre, adding flavour and flair to the country’s bustling food scene.
The grand opening, attended by Syed Saddiq bin Syed Abdul Rahman, MP for Muar, and singer-actress Bella Astillah, showcased Supamala’s commitment to making hotpot inclusive and accessible for all Malaysians.
Spanning 6,500 square feet, the Bangsar outlet is Supamala’s second-largest location, designed to seat over 140 guests and featuring 10 private VIP rooms tailored for groups. The vibrant space blends style, comfort, and community, staying true to hotpot’s essence of togetherness.
“Supamala is about more than food; it’s about creating moments of togetherness. With our third outlet, we’re proud to bring Malaysians a hotpot experience that’s inclusive, accessible, and truly homegrown,” said Alex Yap, Managing Director of Supamala.
While halal certification for the Bangsar outlet is in progress, Supamala’s integrity in maintaining halal standards is clear, with its Sunway Pyramid outlet already fully certified. Diners can enjoy five buffet menus starting from RM38.90+, with options ranging from the Meaty Buffet Set to the premium Supaluxury Buffet Set. An extensive à la carte menu offers over 100 items, from flavour-packed soup bases to playful desserts.
To mark the opening, Supamala introduced the Supa Lucky Wheel, offering prizes with every buffet purchase in September. Rewards range from buffet upgrades and desserts like Vanilla Crepe Cake to the Grand Prize: a free Supaluxury Buffet Set worth RM189.90.
In celebration of Merdeka month, Supamala is serving Musang King Cendol at RM14.90+ (down from RM22) with select buffet purchases. Supaluxury Buffet Set diners enjoy free-flow cendol, pairing a national favourite with the communal joy of hotpot.
