TV Sarawak Is Leveling Up, From Kuching to the World with Spotlight 25/26

Since its debut in 2020, TV Sarawak (TVS) has been rewriting what it means to be a broadcaster from Borneo. No longer just a “regional channel,” TVS is stepping into the national spotlight with its latest showcase, Spotlight 25/26 and it’s all about big visions, bigger content, and bold partnerships.

Think dramas, documentaries, live sports (yes, the SEA Games and Harimau Malaya matches are on the list), and even the return of Gerak Khas 2.0, a nostalgia kick for Malaysians who grew up with the OG police procedural.

But this isn’t just about what’s on screen. TVS is also rolling out 360° sponsorship packages, offering brands the chance to appear everywhere, TV, digital, social, and even LED billboards. Basically, your brand won’t just show up; it’ll be impossible to miss.

More Than Just TV

What sets TVS apart is its mission: taking the spirit of Borneo and sharing it with the world. Signature events like the Sarawak Regatta and Gawai Festival are more than cultural showcases, they’re living proof that heritage and modern storytelling can coexist in the same frame.

“We want to honour our roots, but also connect Sarawak to Malaysia, ASEAN, and beyond,” says Dato’ Norhyati Ismail, Chairman & President of TVS.

Why This Matters

Behind the screens, TVS has quietly become a force in Malaysia’s creative economy. Partnering with over 300 local vendors and creating 3,000+ jobs, the broadcaster isn’t just telling stories, it’s building an industry.

And the future? Bigger stages, wider reach, and more collaborations. TVS isn’t stopping at national borders, it’s aiming for regional influence, taking Borneo’s voice to the global conversation.

The takeaway

TVS is no longer just Sarawak’s station. With Spotlight 25/26, it’s shaping up to be Malaysia’s next big media powerhouse, a channel that blends heritage with hype, and tradition with tomorrow.
