HBO Serves Up Legendary Annual Feasts Through 2028

Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO and HBO Max Content, officially announced the renewal of the Game of Thrones franchise series:

  • A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (first season), January 19, 2026
  • House of the Dragon (third season), Summer 2026

extending each series run through 2028. Both series will air on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max.

Three Years of Thrills You Won’t Forget

Fans are in for a treat! A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms comes back in 2027, while House of the Dragon lights up 2028 with its newly confirmed fourth season.

Additionally, Francesca Orsi, EVP, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series and Films, gave the press a peek into her heart.
