HUAWEI x Maxis Bring eSIM Freedom to Your Wrist? Calls, Messages & Data Without Your Phone

Huawei today announced updates for its smartwatch range, including the latest update for eSIM connectivity using the Maxis eSIM Connect Plan.

Both models can operate independently through the Maxis Connect Plan. It gives users direct access to calls, messages, and mobile data from their smartwatch.

The latest update now allows users to share their primary mobile number and existing data allocation across both their smartphone and smartwatch through the Maxis eSIM Connect Plan

This arrangement ensures uninterrupted access to calls, messages, and mobile data even when the smartphone is not nearby.

By allowing the smartwatch to function independently, users gain a greater sense of convenience and mobility.

This freedom supports them whether they’re working, exercising, or moving between activities throughout the day.

As part of the festive season, the two smartwatches are now available through Maxis Postpaid at more accessible monthly rates.

This makes it easier for users to enjoy smartwatch connectivity without stretching their budgets.

Customers who sign up during this period will also receive a three-month waiver on the Maxis Connect Plan. This gives them the chance to explore the convenience of eSIM connectivity right from their wrist.

It makes it easy to stay connected even without their phone in hand.

The service supports both smartwatches, ensuring that users can enjoy consistent calls, messages, and data access directly from their wrist.

Connect your smartwatch using the Maxis eSIM One Number with 4 simple steps:

  1. Pair the smartwatch via the Huawei Health app.
  2. Go to eSIM management and select One Number.
