AGIBOT, a global leader in humanoid and embodied intelligence robots, officially made its Malaysian debut today with a launch event at i-City, Selangor. The event gathered government officials, partners, customers, media, and AGIBOT’s senior leadership, marking the start of a series of strategic initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region in 2026.
Founded in 2023 with a vision to build robots for the AGI era, AGIBOT focuses on robots that learn, adapt, and evolve in the real world, not just single-purpose machines. Last year, the company shipped its 5,168th humanoid, secured #1 global ranking in humanoid robot shipments with 39% market share, and advanced embodied AI through real-world reinforcement learning.

Malaysia’s First AI & Robotics Experience Centre
The launch also unveiled the AI World Experience Centre at i-City, officiated by MOSTI Minister YB Chang Lih Kang. Developed in partnership with I-Berhad, the centre brings AGIBOT’s humanoid and embodied AI to everyday urban life, from property and hospitality to tourism, while also focusing on human wellness and longevity.
