If you’re from Johor or Singapore, consider yourself lucky. R&F Princess Cove hosted its first-ever New Year’s Eve countdown, “Harmonious Symphony · Infinite Night”, which also celebrated the 6th anniversary of the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House.

The night featured Malaysia’s top talents:

- Dance-pop group 1119
- DJ Juju
From start to finish, the crowd was fully engaged, singing, dancing, and laughing all the way to the countdown.


The event quickly became Johor Bahru’s largest and most talked-about New Year’s Eve celebration, solidifying the city as a regional cultural hotspot.

The night also celebrated Malaysian culture and the arts. Highlights included:
- 24-Festive Drums by the Johor Bahru Drum Troupe
- The elegant “Magpie Bridge” dance
- Princess Cove Opera House Symphonic Band, Johor Bahru’s first professional wind orchestra
- Hana Choir, offering heartfelt and hopeful harmonies
As the crowd counted down together, the sky above Johor Bahru lit up with a six-minute international fireworks display, illuminating the Straits and welcoming 2026 with a spectacular show.
