Tesla Malaysia Says “Same Price, More Power”, Even After Tax Holiday Ends

While most things get more expensive in January, Tesla Malaysia is doing the opposite.

Despite the EV tax holiday officially ending, Tesla has confirmed that all its vehicles will keep the same starting prices introduced in 2025. Yes, really.

That means:

Model 3, Malaysia’s best-selling electric sedan, still starts at RM169,000
Model Y, the world’s best-selling vehicle, stays at RM195,450

Same price. New year. No plot twist.

Charging Up Malaysia, Literally

Tesla isn’t just talking sustainability. It’s building it.

Across Malaysia, Tesla now operates:

  • 18 Supercharging stations
  • 17 Destination Charging locations
  • A total of 76 Superchargers and 79 Destination Chargers

More stations are already on the way, making long-distance drives and daily charging far less stressful, especially for first-time EV owners.

Translation: range anxiety? Slowly becoming a thing of the past.

East Malaysia, It’s Your Turn

Big news for East Malaysians, Tesla has officially arrived in Kuching, Sarawak.

You can now experience Tesla in person at:
📍 Lot G-064, Vivacity Megamall, Kuching

Test drives, tech demos, and exclusive January-only incentives are available while stocks last.

Extra perks for early birds:

  • Order before 15 January → get an official Tesla headrest
  • Refer two buyers who take delivery in January → score a limited-edition colour-matched Wall Connector faceplate
  • Plus RM1,000 Tesla Credits via the Refer & Earn programme (RM500 per successful referral)

What About the Rest of Malaysia?

Customers nationwide can still customise their Tesla at the same prices, with:

  • Deliveries starting from February
  • Up to RM2,000 off, where eligible
  • Ongoing Refer & Earn rewards

Bottom line?

Tesla is betting big on Malaysia, prices steady, chargers expanding, and East Malaysia finally in the game.
