Planta Brings “A Spoonful of Goodness” to Life This Ramadan

This Ramadan, Planta brings its message of everyday kindness to life with the launch of “A Spoonful of Goodness.”

The campaign champions the idea that meaningful impact can begin with the smallest daily choices.

At its Pre-Ramadan gathering, it unveiled this year’s theme through an immersive Planta Taste Lab Experience. Guests were invited to explore flavours through sight, smell, and taste.

The event introduced the new Planta Nutri-Buttery, showcased at interactive tasting stations. Guests created their own flavour pairings, ranging from nostalgic classics to Malaysian-inspired combinations.

The experience highlighted how discovery, creativity, and goodness can start right in the kitchen.

“We believe goodness doesn’t have to be complicated. It begins with the choices we make every day, and when shared, these choices can go far beyond the table,” said Mr. Inura Jayasuriya, Head of Marketing, South and Far East Asia, Flora Food Group.

Turning Good Intentions into Action

In the spirit of Ramadan, the brand extends its message beyond the Taste Lab. The brand is doing so through a series of collaborative community-focused pledges:

  • Supporting charity homes is one of Planta’s key commitments. The brand will supply selected charity homes with a one-year stock of Planta products to support their daily cooking needs.
  • One Story, One Meal is another pledge under the campaign. For every public Instagram Story shared using the campaign’s template, it will donate a meal to the Food Aid Foundation.
  • Empowering local bakers is another focus of the campaign. In partnership with FoodAid-preneurs and local bakers, the brand will support the production of locally inspired butter cakes, helping sustain livelihoods while celebrating Malaysian flavours.
  • Food recovery and redistribution is another key initiative of the campaign. Together with MySaveFood, Planta is exploring ways to safely redirect surplus Ramadan bazaar food to communities in need.

“These pledges reflect our belief that doing good works best when we do it together,” added Mr. Inura.

“Food has the power to nourish, to connect, and to create opportunity.”

Planta Brings the Experience to Section 18, Shah Alam Ramadan Bazaar

From 21–28 February 2026, Planta will bring “A Spoonful of Goodness” directly to the community at the Section 18, Shah Alam Ramadan Bazaar.

Visitors can look forward to a vibrant line-up of activities including a Spin the Wheel game, sampling stations, and an interactive Photo Booth, all designed to spark discovery, encourage engagement, and share the joy of Nutri-Buttery with Malaysians from all walks of life.

A Spoonful That Starts Something Bigger

As Ramadan approaches, Planta hopes that every taste savoured, every Story shared, and every act of generosity inspired by the campaign reminds Malaysians that goodness doesn’t need to be grand to matter.

Sometimes, it begins with just one spoonful.
