The Legendary Mate is Back: HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro Set to Arrive in Malaysia Soon

HUAWEI recently hosted its “Now Is Your Run” global product launch event in Madrid, marking the return of the Mate Series to the global stage.

Leading the lineup was the latest HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro.

It was joined by the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5, HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 in a new colourway, and the HUAWEI Band 11 Series.

These releases reaffirm Huawei’s commitment to technological excellence and purposeful innovation.

The HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro represents Huawei’s cutting-edge innovation. It features an upgraded True-to-Color Camera that delivers consistent colour accuracy across different lighting conditions and mixed colour temperatures.

Whether capturing subtle indoor tones or vibrant outdoor landscapes, the device ensures every shot remains clear. It preserves authenticity without exaggeration, letting moments be documented exactly as they are experienced.

Complementing its imaging capabilities is an evolved Dual Space Ring Design, a refined interpretation of the Mate Series’ iconic aesthetic.

Clean architectural lines meet premium finishes inspired by nature. The HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro comes in Gold, Green, and Black, offering a confident yet understated presence. HUAWEI Malaysia is set to introduce the device to the local market in the coming weeks.

Smart Features for Everyday Life

In addition, the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro introduces AI functions, including AI Composition and AI Smart Control.

Its AI Composition feature suggests the best crop or zoom adjustments for each shot. It also overlays subtle composition hints directly in the viewfinder, helping users frame their photos with greater precision.

Meanwhile, AI Smart Control lets users instantly open their favourite AI apps with a simple double tap of the lock button. This feature adds a new level of convenience to everyday smartphone use.

Engineered to handle everyday demands, the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro combines enhanced durability with advanced AI capabilities.

Its intelligent system optimisation ensures smooth multitasking and reliable all-day performance.

Huawei continues to deliver state-of-the-art technology and experiences, pushing smartphone experience to new heights.

Alongside the Mate 80 Pro, Huawei unveiled the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5. These are the industry’s first wireless earbuds to feature dual-engine AI noise cancellation.

Paired with a dual-drive acoustic system, the earbuds intelligently adapt to surrounding environments to minimise unwanted noise while preserving vocal and instrumental detail, delivering a more immersive and balanced listening experience.

The brand further expanded its wearable portfolio with the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 in a new Green colourway, maintaining its premium diving and outdoor capabilities while introducing enhanced golf-focused features for greater precision.

Meanwhile, the HUAWEI Band 11 Series combines a larger, clearer display with integrated health and activity tracking features, offering a streamlined companion for daily wellness.

HUAWEI Malaysia will soon bring the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro, alongside the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5, the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 in Green and HUAWEI Band 11 Series, to the Malaysian market.
