Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Welcomes Raya 2026 with ‘Journey to Tradisi’

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur kicked off Raya 2026 in style with Journey to Tradisi, in collaboration with Astro.

The campaign celebrates Malaysia’s rich cultural tapestry.

Yang Berusaha Encik Chua Choon Hwa, Deputy Secretary General (Tourism), officiated the launch.

He was joined by Dato’ Joyce Yap, CEO of Pavilion KL, Mr. B. Ravintharan, Head of Cards at Maybank, and Mr. Benjamin Woo, Head of Group Marketing at Astro.

The night sparkled with a special Raya performance by Astro artiste Wani Kayrie, setting a warm, festive vibe.

Visitors and tourists got a taste of authentic Malaysian hospitality with a buka puasa session at the Centre Court. The spread featured air bandung, kurma, and a variety of colourful kuih-muih.

The experience gave everyone a front-row seat to Malaysia’s Ramadan traditions; sharing food, stories, and togetherness.

“As Malaysia gears up to welcome the world for Visit Malaysia 2026, Pavilion KL wants everyone to experience the heart of our traditions.”

“Journey to Tradisi invites Malaysians and international visitors to soak in the spirit of Ramadan and Aidilfitri, from cultural artistry to breaking fast together in the city,” said Puan Nor Rejina Binti Abdul Rahim, Board of Director, Pavilion REIT.

Culture Meets Contemporary: Batik, Lights, and Insta-Worthy Moments

Pavilion KL transformed into a living canvas of Malaysian heritage, inspired by the nostalgic glow of panjut pelita.

The mall collaborated with Malaysian batik artist Farah Mohan to showcase her intricate batik creations. These artworks reimagine traditional motifs with a fresh, modern twist.

Art installations throughout Pavilion KL transformed every corner into an immersive storytelling experience. They beautifully blended heritage, modern design, and the festive magic of Raya.

Visitors can reconnect with Raya traditions at the beautifully decorated Spanish Steps. They can also enjoy festive shopping at the buzzing Centre Court.

Exclusive pop-ups offer limited-edition Raya treats from:

  • Loka Espresso
  • Variante
  • Arabian Oud
  • Carpet Village
  • Buttonscarves
  • Zaitoun

The Dolce & Gabbana The One Campaign Pop-Up opens on Level 3 starting 23rd February 2026. It delights luxury beauty fans with rare collections and exclusive products.

Beyond festive fun, Pavilion KL also embraces sustainability. In partnership with WWF, the Earth Hour Awareness Booth runs from 23rd–27th March 2026, while the Lights Out event on 28th March sees the mall and participating tenants switch off lights from 8:30–9:30 PM, showing love for the planet.

From immersive batik art to festive feasts, Pavilion KL’s Journey to Tradisi proves that Raya is more than a celebration; it’s a full-on lifestyle experience, blending culture, community, and unforgettable memories in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
