Starbucks Malaysia Launches ‘Kongsi-EID Forward’, Spreading Kindness Beyond The Cup This Ramadan

Ramadan is a season of giving. And this year, Starbucks Malaysia is turning that spirit into action.

Through its ‘Kongsi-EID Forward’ campaign, the brand is inviting Malaysians to share more than just coffee.

Inspired by the word kongsi (to share) and the idea of paying kindness forward, customers can purchase a special Starbucks Ramadan Ready-To-Eat (RTE) pack in-store throughout the fasting month.

Here’s how it works:

Every RTE pack contributed by customers will be collected and distributed to children in orphanages nationwide, just in time for Hari Raya Aidilfitri. A small act, but one that could brighten someone’s celebration.

First-Ever ‘Rider-To-Eat’ Initiative Appreciates Delivery Riders

This year also marks Starbucks Malaysia’s first dedicated outreach to delivery riders.

Under the ‘Rider-To-Eat’ initiative, Starbucks is contributing RM39,760 worth of Ramadan RTE packs and beverages to riders who work tirelessly, especially during Ramadan, when iftar timing matters most.

The initiative kicked off on 27 February 2026 at Starbucks Bamboo Hills DT, where over 150 delivery riders received specially curated Ramadan RTE packs.

“Delivery riders keep our communities alive and moving, especially during Ramadan when we rely on them to receive meals in time for iftar,” said Alia Emira Ismail, Head of Public Relations & Communications, Berjaya Starbucks.

She added that the initiative is not just about charity — it’s about appreciation. A simple way of saying, we see you.

The Rider-To-Eat outreach will continue at:

  • Starbucks Bayan Baru

  • Starbucks Eco Boulevard

  • Starbucks Prima 5 DT

before concluding ahead of the end of Ramadan.
