For experienced runners, it is an opportunity to push beyond limits and achieve new personal bests.
To get participants geared up ahead of the race, this year further elevates the race experience through Garmin’s training ecosystem for runners, TheGarmin Run Club (GRC). GRC training sessions will take place every Tuesday at Sky Field and TAR UMT Arena, before scaling up to twice weekly from July to October to better support participants in their race preparation journey.
Participants can also look forward to a stronger community-driven experience on race day, featuring pacers led by experienced coaches, Akashah and Faiz, to help runners train and race smarter. This year also sees increased female pacer representation, further strengthening Garmin’s commitment towards inclusivity and empowering female runners.
“The strong support from the local running community plays an important role in shaping the success of Garmin Run Malaysia. At Garmin, we believe in the power of community and the idea that every running journey matters whether you are taking your very first step as a beginner or pushing towards a new competitive personal best. This year, we hope to encourage even more people to come together through running by creating an experience that is welcoming, motivating and inclusive for all levels.

Beyond race day, Garmin remains committed to supporting runners through our running science technology, training ecosystem, and expert-led support to help them build confidence, stay consistent and grow stronger throughout their running journey.
