Jaya Grocer Partners with Tourism Malaysia for Visit Malaysia 2026 Campaign

SEPANG, 16 JUNE 2026 – Jaya Grocer has officially partnered with Tourism Malaysia in support of the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign through the introduction of Malaysian Delights, a curated in-store showcase that brings together Malaysia’s culinary diversity and homegrown brands.

Launched at KLIA2, Malaysian Delights serve as a warm welcome for visitors arriving in Malaysia and a final opportunity for departing travellers to bring a taste of Malaysia home. The initiative is positioned to reach millions of travellers annually, creating a meaningful cultural touchpoint through authentic Malaysian food experiences.

“Food is one of the most authentic expressions of Malaysia’s culture,” said Daniel Teng, Chief Executive Officer of Jaya Grocer.

“Through Malaysian Delights, we hope to make it easier for customers and travellers to discover Malaysian flavours in one place, while supporting and showcasing the local brands behind them.”

Malaysia recorded 17.5 million tourist arrivals as of May 2026, reflecting continued growth under the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign and reinforcing the country’s position as a leading regional travel destination.

Designed as a cultural retail experience, Malaysian Delights brings together a curated selection of Malaysian snacks, ready-to-eat items, and products from more than 10 local brands, featuring over 120 SKUs that highlight Malaysia’s food diversity while supporting homegrown businesses.

In addition to KLIA2, the Malaysian Delights concept is also available at selected Jaya Grocer stores, including Sunway Pyramid and LaLaport, with plans to expand to 3 stores nationwide.

As part of the initiative, Malaysian Delights also features Grab Signatures, a co-creation between Grab and local F&B merchants that transforms well-loved Malaysian dishes into retail- ready products. To date, 27 products have been developed with homegrown brands such as Village Park Nasi Lemak Sambal, Inside Scoop Ice Cream, MyPizzaLab Pizza, KGB Fries, Soi 55 Tom Yum Paste, Serai Chicken Marinade, and many more, allowing more Malaysians and visitors to enjoy familiar local flavours in a new format.

To further enhance the in-store experience, customers can enjoy a Purchase with Purchase (PWP) promotion: with a minimum spend of RM100 at Jaya Grocer, shoppers are entitled to purchase the “Jalan-Jalan Malaysia” tote bag at a special price of RM14.99 (UP: RM29.90). This promotion is available at all Jaya Grocer outlets nationwide.

As part of its ongoing effort to elevate the retail experience, Jaya Grocer continues to integrate digital convenience with meaningful in-store journeys through the Grab ecosystem. Beyond seamless shopping via GrabMart and member-exclusive rewards, the initiative enhances how customers discover and experience Malaysian Delights, creating a more connected and engaging retail journey that bridges online and offline touchpoints.

Jaya Grocer’s continued efforts to strengthen its integrated approach to retail innovation and offerings were recently recognised at the Retail Asia Awards 2026, where it received three major awards: Supermarket of the Year – Malaysia, Private Label Brand of the Year – Malaysia, and Retail Distribution Network of the Year – Malaysia. This recognition reflects the company’s continued expansion, private label innovation through Grab Signatures, and investment in a more efficient nationwide distribution network, strengthening its position as a leading retailer in Malaysia.
