KUALA LUMPUR, 2 July 2026 – Petrosains Sdn Bhd, has received a prestigious RoSPA Award, demonstrating its commitment to the highest standards in accident prevention and workplace safety. The company was awarded the Silver Award in the Health and Safety Performance Sector, reflecting its dedication to safeguarding the wellbeing of staff, visitors, and contractors.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA Awards, which began in the UK as a small initiative to recognise organisations prioritising workplace safety, and has since grown into one of the biggest and most prestigious health and safety awards programme in the world, with the 2026 awards attracting 2,000 different entries from nearly 60 countries.
The RoSPA Awards welcome organisations of all sizes, ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations. The application process encourages organisations to reflect on their safety practices, supporting continuous professional development (CPD) and reinforcing the importance of ongoing learning in reducing workplace incidents.
