Petrosains Sdn Bhd Recognised for Health and Safety Excellence at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)’s 70th Anniversary Awards

KUALA LUMPUR, 2 July 2026 – Petrosains Sdn Bhd, has received a prestigious RoSPA Award, demonstrating its commitment to the highest standards in accident prevention and workplace safety. The company was awarded the Silver Award in the Health and Safety Performance Sector, reflecting its dedication to safeguarding the wellbeing of staff, visitors, and contractors.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA Awards, which began in the UK as a small initiative to recognise organisations prioritising workplace safety, and has since grown into one of the biggest and most prestigious health and safety awards programme in the world, with the 2026 awards attracting 2,000 different entries from nearly 60 countries. 

The RoSPA Awards welcome organisations of all sizes, ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations. The application process encourages organisations to reflect on their safety practices, supporting continuous professional development (CPD) and reinforcing the importance of ongoing learning in reducing workplace incidents. By receiving this award, Petrosains joins a distinguished community of organisations committed to protecting people at work and in public spaces.

The RoSPA Awards are sponsored by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), a leading global organisation, which provides internationally-recognised health, safety and environmental qualifications that raise the competence of safety and environmental professionals as well as individuals at all levels in the workplace.
