This Merdeka and Malaysia Day season, Garmin Malaysia is celebrating what makes Malaysia unique through Garmin Celebrates Lokal, a campaign that brings together local creativity, community and active living.
The campaign encourages Malaysians to stay active in their own “lokal” way, whether through everyday routines, outdoor adventures, fitness sessions or simply spending time moving together with the community.
At the heart of the campaign is a collaboration with Malaysian self-taught artist Izzati Suza, known for her colourful, doodle-inspired illustrations that capture familiar Malaysian moments with humour and authenticity.
Blending pop art, caricature and local cultural elements, Izzati’s artwork explores themes of identity, womanhood and everyday Malaysian life.
As part of the collaboration, Garmin and Izzati have created an exclusive collection of locally inspired merchandise, alongside a limited-edition Garmin Celebrates Lokal watch face, available for download via Connect IQ from 11 August 2026.
Merdeka Deals: Up To 40% Off Garmin Products
For those looking to upgrade their fitness gear this Merdeka season, Garmin is also offering up to 40% off selected Garmin products under its Happy Merdeka Day promotion, running until 31 August 2026.
