Inside Scoop Turns 9 Malaysian Favourites Into Ice Cream, Here’s The Full Line-Up

From Beryl’s chocolate and BOH Teh Tarik to Gardenia Twiggies and Mister Potato, nine Malaysian favourites are getting a seriously sweet makeover.

Remember the snacks you packed for school? The drinks you had at breakfast? Or the treats that somehow always appeared during family gatherings?

This year, Inside Scoop is turning some of those familiar Malaysian favourites into ice cream.

The brand’s much-anticipated Lokal Legends 2026 is back, bringing together nine homegrown brands and reimagining their signature flavours as limited-edition scoops.

Here Are The 9 Flavours

Beryl’s Tiramisu Almond Chocolate
Beryl’s signature tiramisu dark chocolate meets fudgy chocolate and honey-roasted almonds.

BOH Teh Tarik
A creamy local teh tarik ice cream made with BOH tea and condensed milk, finished with chewy brown sugar mochi.

Farm Fresh Pistachio Yoghurt Crunch
Tangy yoghurt ice cream meets crunchy pistachio kunafa.

Gardenia Choc-A-Lot Twiggies
A nostalgic childhood favourite turned into milk chocolate ice cream with chunks of Gardenia Twiggies Choc-A-Lot.

Mister Potato Choc Potato Chips N’ Cream
Creamy vanilla, salted caramel and crunchy chocolate-coated Mister Potato chips — yes, you read that right.

Oriental Kopi Kaya Butter Toast
Pandan kaya and brown butter ice cream layered with toast crumbs, inspired by the classic kopitiam breakfast.

Secret Recipe Chocolate Indulgence®
Rich chocolate and creamy custard ice cream with chocolate hazelnut sauce and pieces of the iconic Chocolate Indulgence® cake.

Thumbs Peanut Butter Jelly
Creamy peanut butter ice cream with blueberry jam and more peanut butter.

ZUS Coffee Ube Latté
Earthy ube ice cream with chewy mochi bites, inspired by ZUS Coffee’s popular Ube series.

Basically, your childhood snack drawer just got frozen.

A Supermarket… But Make It Ice Cream

For Lokal Legends 2026, Inside Scoop is taking inspiration from somewhere every Malaysian knows the supermarket.

The campaign transforms the familiar supermarket experience into a playful celebration of Malaysian brands, bringing all nine collaborations together under one roof.

To launch the campaign, Inside Scoop’s Galeria SA Sentral outlet was transformed into the Lokal Legends Supermarket, complete with dedicated brand aisles, tasting experiences and stories behind each collaboration.

Guests could explore the different brands while, naturally, sampling the ice cream along the way.

You Can Get All 9 In One Box

Can’t decide which one to try first?
Inside Scoop has you covered with the 9-Scoop Party Pack, featuring all nine Lokal Legends flavours in one box.

Each Party Pack also comes with an exclusive Lokal Legends Ice Cream Passport and sticker pack, so you can collect and tick off every flavour in this year’s line-up.

Since launching, Lokal Legends has become one of Inside Scoop’s most anticipated annual campaigns, celebrating the local brands that have become part of everyday Malaysian life.

And judging by this year’s line-up, choosing just one flavour might be the hardest part.

Lokal Legends 2026 will be available from 10 August at participating Inside Scoop outlets nationwide, for a limited time only.

So… which Malaysian favourite are you trying first?
