In conjunction with World Breastfeeding Month, Toshiba Lifestyle Malaysia has launched its “Empowering Every Mother’s Journey” initiative. Designed to inspire and support mothers through open dialogues, expert insights, and practical care, the campaign highlights the importance of building a strong, nurturing environment for postpartum recovery and infant care.
The initiative was officiated by YB Yeo Bee Yin, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Select Committee for Women, Children, and Community Development, alongside panel experts, including certified lactation consultant Elizabeth Richard and wellness advocate Natasha Hudson.
RM60,000 Support Drive for Confinement Centres
To provide direct support to new mothers, Toshiba Lifestyle Malaysia has launched a donation drive contributing refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers worth approximately RM60,000 to three local facilities:
- The Nesting Place Confinement Centre
- Kimporo Postnatal Rejuvenation Centre
- LYC Mother & Child Centre
The donated refrigerators will assist in the safe, hygienic storage of expressed breast milk, while the laundry and dishwashing appliances aim to elevate hygienic standards and ease operational care during the crucial postpartum recovery period.
Recognised by Parenthood Records
In honour of this initiative, Toshiba Lifestyle Malaysia was awarded the Parenthood Records title for the “Most Home Appliances Donated to Confinement Centres.” The recognition underscores the brand’s ongoing commitment to enhancing family well-being through practical innovation.
Additionally, Toshiba introduced its 5-Senses Toshiba Lifestyle Experience Zone, showcasing how its broader ecosystem of home solutions creates a comforting, hygienic, and seamless home environment for growing families.
