If you’re a fan of cute collectibles, dreamy pop-ups and all things Twinkle Twinkle, there’s a new stop to add to your weekend plans.
POP MART has officially opened the Twinkle Twinkle Farm Tales Pop-Up at Urban Node, The Exchange TRX, transforming the space into a playful farm-inspired world filled with familiar characters, animal details and plenty of opportunities to get up close with Twinkle Twinkle.
Running from 13 to 23 August, the 11-day pop-up marks the first Farm Tales Series pop-up in Southeast Asia, alongside Twinkle Twinkle’s first-ever appearance in Malaysia.
Step Into Twinkle Twinkle’s Little Farm
Inspired by the Farm Tales Series, the pop-up takes visitors into a whimsical countryside setting where Twinkle Twinkle and its animal friends come to life.
Beyond the themed environment, fans can also get their hands on selected pop-up-exclusive merchandise, including T-shirts, plush bags, fridge magnets and more, available from 13 August.
The highly anticipated Twinkle Twinkle Farm Tales Series will officially launch at the pop-up on 21 August, while exclusive gifts with qualifying purchases will be available throughout the event, while stocks last.
Twinkle Twinkle Is Meeting Malaysian Fans IRL
For the first time, Malaysian fans can also meet POP MART Friend Twinkle Twinkle in person.
The character will make special appearances on 20 and 21 August at Level 1 of The Exchange TRX, in front of Love, Bonito. A limited number of fans will get the chance to join the meet-and-greet sessions and, of course, take a few photos with the star of the show.
To stand a chance at getting a meet-and-greet ticket, visitors can spend RM120 or more in a single receipt at the pop-up from 13 to 15 August.
Just keep in mind that spaces are limited, with the full schedule and participation details to be announced through POP MART Malaysia’s official social media channels.
Meet The Artist Behind Twinkle Twinkle
There’s more in store for fans beyond the new collection.
Created by illustrator and designer Daxin in 2020, Twinkle Twinkle is instantly recognisable for its rosy cheeks, star-shaped body and adorably curious personality.
Daxin will be making an appearance in Kuala Lumpur for artist signing sessions on 22 and 23 August, giving fans the opportunity to meet the creator behind the character.
Those hoping to attend can spend RM99.60 on Twinkle Twinkle products in a single receipt at the pop-up from 13 to 21 August for a chance to receive a signing ticket.
From Singapore To Kuala Lumpur
The Farm Tales journey into Southeast Asia began in Singapore, where Twinkle Twinkle found a permanent home at Dreamstar Isle in the POP MART Resorts World Sentosa store.
Now, the character is making its way to Kuala Lumpur bringing a new setting, new stories and its first local fan experience to Malaysia.
And this isn’t where the journey ends.
Twinkle Twinkle is set to continue travelling to different cities and countries, meeting new fans and creating stories shaped by the cultures and communities it encounters along the way.
For now, Kuala Lumpur gets its own little slice of Farm Tales.
