Haier Malaysia recently unveiled the Horizon Multi-Door Collection, a new range of multi-door refrigerators built around the changing needs of Malaysian households. Alongside the new range, Haier also introduced its latest Dishwasher, bringing smart cleaning capabilities designed to simplify everyday kitchen routines.
Launched under the theme “Beyond What You See”, the Horizon Collection goes beyond the traditional expectations of what a refrigerator can offer, embracing “Beyond Time, Beyond Space, and Beyond Imagination” to reflect how Malaysian households live, shop, store, and manage food today.
“Malaysian households are changing the way they shop and manage food, with many now stocking up for one to two weeks at a time and paying closer attention to reducing food waste,” said Mr. Patrick Seow, Chief Operating Officer of Haier Malaysia.
“This is shaping what they expect from their appliances, especially around storage, organisation, freshness and design to stand out in the kitchen- and it’s why we’re introducing the Horizon Collection now.”
Freshness sits at the heart of the collection’s design, going “Beyond Time” with advanced freshness technologies that help food stay fresh for longer. With the introduction of Nutribank, the world’s first industry-leading preservation technology, meat can stay fresh for up to 10 days, staying as fresh as day one while preserving more than 95% of its protein content. The Active Fresh Zone maintains a consistent humidity level of 90% while minimising condensation, helping fruits and vegetables stay fresh for up to seven days with more than 98% Vitamin C retention.
In addition, ABT Pro effectively removes up to 99.9999% of bacteria and unwanted odours, helping ensure ingredients remain fresh, clean and safe for consumption.
The collection goes “Beyond Space” with over 820L of storage capacity, equivalent to up to 38 grocery bags or 7 large shopping carts, offering greater flexibility for bulk shopping and meal planning. Its 35L freezer capacity, the largest in the market, provides ample space for frozen food storage, while adjustable cantilever shelves and the Day Light panel provide full visibility, making it easier to organise and access groceries.
The outstanding Smart Window and Welcome Light create a sophisticated “Beyond Imagination” experience as users approach the refrigerator, while the Auto Water Dispenser and Dual Ice Maker on selected models offer chilled water and two ice sizes, bringing an elevated ice and beverage experience to the comfort of your home.
Haier has also launched the SpaceFit series of kitchen appliances, extending the aesthetics and intelligent convenience of the kitchen space to cooking and post-meal cleaning. The range hood features a 325mm ultra-thin design that can be matched with regular cabinet sizes, achieving full integrated and automatic lifting; the gas hob adopts a 40mm ultra-thin design and an upper intake system, freeing up the space below the cabinet to meet users’ diverse storage needs; the steam combi oven has a patented dual water box technology, with separate circulation of fresh water and wastewater, achieving fresh cooking without flavor transfer, providing users with a healthier cooking experience.
The latest Haier Dishwasher (HDWA18-686BK5MY), provides a large 18-set plate setting with a design for Asian dish usage. Besides being large, the new dishwasher comes with 60,000Pa powerful inverter motor, 5D Dual-side wash and 80°C Micro Steam Wash+ combined with UV sterilisation, resulting in cleanliness index 1.3. While AI Wash detects the level of dirt and automatically selects the appropriate wash programme. The 240 Hours Smart Storage function keeps dishes dry and odour-free through an auto-opening and closing door, fresh air and UV sterilisation, cutting down the time and effort spent on everyday clean-up.
